Hi! I’m K. Michelle. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from East Tennessee State University, and also earned a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Miami University (Ohio). While I am new to the freelance editing business, I am not new to editing. I have over ten years of combined editing experience, including four years of news copy editing and more than six years of fiction editing for hobbyist writers.
I’ve been passionate about writing since I was a child, writing and illustrating my own “books” made out of construction and typing paper. I’m also passionate about reading, and I am particularly fond of romance (all kinds!), women’s fiction, general fiction, and sociology. When I’m not working with words, you can find me playing The Sims 4, binge-watching a new show on streaming, or spending time with my three cats.
